edX is a global non-profit founded by Harvard and MIT and continues to be governed by universities. 2. Udemy
If you can think of a topic, Udemy probably has a course for it. With over 100,000 courses to choose from run by industry experts, you’re bound to find a course (or ten) that interests you. Once you buy a course, you have lifetime access so you can study at your own pace. Study the fundamentals of psychology, Python or app development. You can even find some really niche subjects like Rubik’s cube , tarot reading or drone photography.
3. Coursera
Coursera combines the courses and degrees from American universities such as Stanford, Duke and Michigan. They have hundreds of free courses with on-demand video lectures, homework exercises and forums. Their paid courses provide additional quizzes and projects and you’ll receive a course certificate upon completion. Learn a language, take your negotiation skills up a notch or get a kick-start in a career in data science or take a course in business writing.
4. LinkedIn Learning
The home of online career networking also provides a vast range of courses in the categories of Business, Creative and Technology. Learn InDesign, take a course in those tricky aspects of customer service or fine-tune those WordPress skills. As you transition from studying into the workplace, you’ll need to be across emailing, effective communication and teamwork — so what better time to learn than now?
