This combined degree takes all the advantages of being an in demand environmental engineer and combines it with the knowledge needed to become an accredited civil engineer. You will not only be able to develop practical solutions that will protect and improve the quality of our environment but also create innovative infrastructure design and construction solutions across the four main civil engineering themes of structures, transport, water and geomechanics.

Structure

To qualify for the Bachelor of Engineering (Environmental) (Honours), Master of Engineering (Civil) a student must complete 180 units with a grade of P or NGP or better in each topic.

Entry requirements

  • This course can be applied for using Year 12, TAFE qualifications, the Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT), the Flinders Foundation Studies Program and Tertiary Transfer. Prerequisites: SACE stage two specialist mathematics or mathematical methods or equivalent. Assumed knowledge: knowledge of SACE stage two physics or equivalent is assumed.
