This course covers the mandatory work health and safety training required prior to undertaking construction work. The unit requires the person to demonstrate personal awareness and knowledge of health and safety legislative requirements in order to work safely and prevent injury or harm to self and others.

Structure
This course comprises of one unit of competency and at completion of this course a student can obtain their Construction Induction White Card from WorkSafe.

Entry requirements
- To be selected for entry into the White Card, applicants are required to complete a suitability review, a task participation and medical checklist and a language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) evaluation, prior to enrolment.
