Katie Page, Managing Director of Harvey Norman and Western Sydney Foundation council member greatly believes in the life changing impact that education can have on people. In 2015 Ms Page championed the Harvey Norman Scholarships at Western Sydney University where $300,000 was donated to support 13 students on scholarships for the whole of their course. Having seen the effect that scholarships can have on students - in supporting them to realise their goals and further their potential, Ms Page is committed to supporting more Western Sydney University students through scholarships. Ms Page is passionate about helping women achieve great things, and these new scholarships will provide scholarships for high achieving women, for women who have overcome disadvantage and for refugee women. Ms Page is proud to support the hard work of students, and is proud to support Western Sydney University. She says "the University is doing great things and she wants to support these scholarships because she truly believes in this".
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must: be female; be Australian citizens, or permanent residents, or humanitarian visa holders (preferably within the last 5 years); be new or current students undertaking a undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree, or foundation studies, Diploma, Bachelor (first year program) or Associate degree at the College; demonstrate academic potential through GPA of 4.0 for current students; and GPA of 6.0 for current foundation studies students. New applicants will be assessed on ATAR results or previous work experience.
