This degree combines a professional degree with immersion in another language and culture, enhancing professional training and career options. The combined course seeks to augment the value of the creative writing degree by broadening awareness and understanding of another language and culture. Structure

Students must complete 240 credit points consisting of 24 credit points of core subjects, a 48-credit-point major and potential 48-credit-point second major (subject to application), 24 credit points of cross-disciplinary electives and a 96-credit-point country major choice. Students who do not meet the requirements to study the second major complete 48 credit points of electives. Students spend their fourth year at a university overseas.

Entry requirements

Australian Year 12 qualification, AQF Diploma, or equivalent Australian or overseas qualification at the required level. Assumed knowledge: Any two units of English and computer literacy. The English proficiency requirement for international students or local applicants with international qualifications is: Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0
