Structure

12 units: 1 one-unit self-assessment portfolio.; 1 workplace portfolio subject (2 units).; 1 Industry Project (2 units).; 2 other core courses.; 5 technical courses.; 1 practice subject. Credit may be possible for subjects within the program, subject to the outcome of the first course: Self-Assessment Portfolio. i.e. less than 12 units would then be required.

Entry requirements

  • Completion of a three-year bachelor equivalent qualification, in the area of Engineering science or engineering technology in the relevant cognate specialisation or be a Technologist Member of Engineers Australia
  • plus at least five years of relevant experience in the Engineering industry. Note: This program is not available to international students living overseas.

Recognition

This program is accredited by Engineers Australia and graduates are eligible for Graduate membership at the Professional Engineer level.
