Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Honours) (Nuclear Medicine)

The Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Honours) (Nuclear Medicine) is an AQF level 8 Bachelor Honours program. Nuclear Medicine uses a mix of sophisticated medical imaging technology such as scintigraphy, SPECT, hybrid PET/CT, people skills and radioactive chemical compounds (radiopharmaceuticals) to image and/or treat a wide variety of injuries or diseases ranging from elite athletes with sports injuries, to cardiac and brain studies, to cancer patients.

Structure

Qualification for the award of Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Honours) (Nuclear Medicine) requires completion of 320 units consisting of: 300 units of Core Courses; and 20 units of Elective Courses for Non-Graded Honours or 20 units of Research Project courses for Graded Honours.
