Bachelor of Data Science

Data is everywhere and is exponentially growing in its creation. Data Scientists create and use various tools and frameworks in order to analyse for patterns in data, then communicate their findings to others. The University of Newcastle’s Bachelor of Data Science will allow you to develop core skills in data science including data wrangling and visualisation, programming, data security, and applied artificial intelligence including machine intelligence.

The Bachelor of Data Science requires students to pass courses totalling 240 units, as follows: 170 units of Core courses ; 10 unit 2000 Level Directed course; 10 unit 3000 Level Directed course ; 50 units of Electives
