Master of Chemical Engineering (Professional)
The Master of Chemical Engineering (Professional) is designed to advance chemical engineers towards more senior, leadership roles. As part of this, youll learn how to scope and address complex problems. This includes understanding the interdisciplinary challenges associated with the design and optimisation of processing raw materials into commercial products at an industrial scale. As part of this program youll complete a 2-semester research project or industry placement.

Structure
Complete 32 units comprising: 10 units for all MChemEng(Prof) Core Courses, and 8 units for all MChemEng(Prof) Research Project Courses, and 0 to 6 units from MChemEng(Prof) Advanced Undergraduate Elective Courses, and 4 to 14 units from MChemEng(Prof) Postgraduate Elective Courses, and 0 to 4 units from MChemEng(Prof) Management Elective Courses.
Entry requirements
- A 4-year bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (see below), or A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) which includes all of the relevant discipline content (see below), or to have successfully completed 3 years of study towards an approved qualification at an overseas partner institution, with a formal pathway to the Master of Chemical Engineering (Professional).
