These unique programs bring together Theology and Counselling, knowledge and skills that are important for pastoral practitioners and chaplains to develop capabilities and competency in the provision of emotional, spiritual support and theological reflection. Graduates can apply their knowledge of bioethical issues, pastoral theology, and counselling, to establish therapeutic pastoral relationships in practice including facilitation of liturgy and ritual, faith, and belief integration. Students have the opportunity to undertake a practicum placement as an elective and to consolidate their understanding of leadership to begin to think about leadership opportunities.
