Graduate Certificate in Wellbeing in Education

The Graduate Certificate of Wellbeing in Education is designed to support educators and educational leaders to develop advanced knowledge of wellbeing in education to enable the development of process and practice leading to a positive impact on school culture and student outcomes. Participants will engage with contemporary approaches to wellbeing, exploring theory and research to build an evidence base of best practice. High level understandings of key concepts including wellbeing, resilience and pastoral care will be developed with a particular focus on the implementation of processes and practices that support wellbeing, resilience and pastoral care for both staff and students. This program challenges participants to demonstrate highly developed cognitive, technical and creative skills, critique research and practice, generate understanding of complex educational and psychological issues in wellbeing, and to integrate knowledge with their own practice as educators and school leaders.
