The Graduate Certificate in Disaster and Terror Medicine is a unique program and part of a suite of courses from The University of Melbourne that provide an evidence-based introduction to the key elements of this specialty. Developed by the Department of Critical Care in consultation with industry, this course draws on the extensive knowledge and real-world experience of Australian and international experts, including leading emergency physician, Professor George Braitberg AM, who heads up the departments emergency medicine program.

- A medical degree, OR
- An undergraduate degree in any discipline AND at least three years of documented relevant work experience in a health management, paramedicine, nursing or equivalent role.
