Associate Degree of Applied Technologies
The course content has been developed through University and Industry partnerships and is designed to equip learners with both technical and professional skills. The course will develop deep digitalisation knowledge and skills through an approach of real-world complex problem solving in collaborative teams. It will include innovation and entrepreneurship skills applied to product lifecycle management from design and production to system management.

Structure
The Associate Degree in Applied Technologies consists of 15 or 16 units of study (200 credit points). Units normally carry 12.5 credit points. A standard annual full-time load comprises 100 credit points and a part-time load comprises 50 credit points.

Entry requirements
- One of: Successful completion of the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or its equivalent , such as an interstate or international Year 12 qualification
- Completion or partial completion of an approved tertiary qualification or International Equivalent (including Certificates, Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas, Associate Degrees and/or higher qualification).
Study Pathways
Pathways allow students to progress from one qualification to another where the first course is recognised as an entry requirement and/or provides advanced standing to the second. Credit is granted in recognition of previous study and/or experience and allows students to gain advanced standing towards their course. Applicants are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Honours year available.
