- A recognised bachelor degree (or higher qualification) in information technology or related discipline
- or a recognised bachelor degree (or higher qualification) in any discipline followed by at least three years full-time (or equivalent) professional experience in an information technology related field
- or a recognised diploma (or higher qualification) in information technology or related discipline followed by at least two years full-time (or equivalent) professional work experience in an information technology related field
- or at least five years full-time (or equivalent) professional work experience in an information technology field.
