Bachelor of Communication (Media and Communication Industries)/Bachelor of Laws (Honours)
At QUT, we prepare our students for the modern world of law. What makes our law degree unique is our balance between legal principles and practice. With our practical, hands on approach to teaching, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the Australian legal system and the core areas of law required for admission to legal practice in Australia. Bachelor of Communication (Media and Communication Industries): Digital communication platforms, streaming media, and online content consumption are reconfiguring how we communicate and access information. Governments, corporations, and entertainment industries, like TV, games, and social media, must fundamentally rethink how to capture attention in an increasingly fragmented landscape. This major prepares you to lead industries, organisations, and teams through the complexities of digital disruption and social change. You will learn how to navigate the economic, cultural, technological, and regulatory aspects of digital media, develop specialised skills in social media management and data analytics, and master new strategies for audience engagement.
