The Chancellor’s Scholarships are for undergraduate students with compounding educational disadvantage, such as being from an outer regional or remote area within Australia, that may impact their ability to commence and complete their degree, and for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students to achieve their full potential.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must; be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, permanent humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen; be a Griffith University undergraduate student (commencing and continuing students); not have completed the requirements for an Australian bachelor award unless such an award is a prerequisite to your undergraduate program of enrolment and there is no alternate pathway into that program; be in good academic standing (continuing students only); demonstrate educational disadvantage based on a comprehensive assessment by the University; not be a current recipient of a Chancellor's Accommodation, Chancellor’s Education, Indigenous Commonwealth Accommodation or Indigenous Commonwealth Education Scholarship.Applicants in receipt of Centrelink Relocation Grants may be ineligible for the regional or remote payment under this scholarship.
