The Master of Primary Maternity Care will involve the development of high levels of research knowledge and skills to enable graduates to analyse the evidence, determine the applicability of evidence to practice, generate critical questions and conduct research. Graduates will contribute to the development of best practice through the acquisition and generation of research that supports evidenced based maternity care.

  • To be eligible for admission to the Master of Primary Maternity Care, you must have: Pathway 1 - 1 year program (80 CP): A recognised Bachelor degree (or higher) in a related professional health practice discipline and
  • A minimum of 2 years full-time (or equivalent) relevant professional experience.
  • Pathway 2 - 1.5 year program (120 CP): A recognised Bachelor degree (or higher) in a related professional health practice discipline and
  • A minimum of 2 years full-time (or equivalent) relevant professional experience.
