Graduate Certificate in Society and the Individual
This course is designed for people who have earned a tertiary degree in any discipline and are planning to work in the Australian human services and welfare sectors. This graduate certificate supports students to develop advanced empirical, theoretical and ethical knowledge for working with vulnerable people in our community. The course offers an employment pathway into the human services sector (aged care, disability care, youth work, community work, support work).

Structure
To qualify for the Graduate Certificate in Society and the Individual, a student must complete 18 units with a grade of P or NGP or better in each topic.
Entry requirements
- Applicants must hold a degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.
- However, the Dean (Education) may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, admit others who can show evidence of fitness for candidature.
