Entry requirements

  • For entry to this course, students must hold a bachelors degree in nursing (or equivalent) and be registered to practice with Ahpra or an equivalent National registration body. A minimum of 12 months of clinical experience in the nursing field post-undergraduate qualification is a requirement for admission to this course. Applicants must provide evidence of 12 months of clinical experience as a registered nurse (RN) at the time of application.
  • Applicants without 12 months of clinical experience at the date of application will be excluded.
  • Intending students should also be aware that in order to undertake the practicum subjects they will be required to comply with the risk management policies and procedures of the host ambulance authority.
  • Students must be able to attend intensive schools associated with three subjects.
