The AABT5022 Advanced Laser IPL and Dermal Therapies course has been specially designed after extensive consultation with industry experts to ensure graduates have the required skills and knowledge to not only perform great beauty and facial treatments but also work with laser and IPL equipment upon graduating and be able to perform a range of Dermal Therapy and Laser hair reduction treatments. Aspiring beauty therapists will learn to safely apply intense pulsed light (IPL) and cosmetic laser techniques for hair removal treatments and skin care, making them valuable assets in laser clinics and beauty salons. Laser hair removal and dermal therapy treatments are in high demand in today’s modern salon and this course will ensure that the therapist is able to perform the treatments safely for both the client and themselves. The curriculum includes units of competency that cover pulsed light and laser technologies, emphasising relaxation techniques to enhance the client experience. This qualification reflects the role of individuals who have specialised knowledge to design and safely apply IPL and laser to reduce unwanted hair on the face and body and to safely perform a range of Dermal Therapy and Skin Rejuvenation Treatments. The learning experience is enriched by practical hours in our Laser/ Dermal clinic, guided by our fully qualified Trainer and Assessor. This specialised training is pivotal for those aiming to excel in laser hair removal courses and dermal therapy treatments, which are increasingly sought after in contemporary beauty salons and laser clinics. The course satisfies the requirements for a laser safety licence in Western Australia, Queensland, and Tasmania. Classes are held at Bella Vista, Rockdale, and North Strathfield, providing a comprehensive attendance schedule.
