3 tips to help you catch up on uni work
Getting back on track with your study during the semester can be tricky. Check out these tips to get your study schedule back on track before the end of the semester.
1. Message your uni tutors
Even just missing one lecture, tutorial or workshop at uni can be difficult to come back from. Particularly when you’re studying a course that has a heavy reading load.
Setting up some time to catch up with your tutor to ask for some extra support can help you get back on track. They can tell you what information to focus on. They can explain information that doesn't make sense and guide you when completing assessments.
Your tutors really are there to help you, so make the most of their expertise.
2. Spend some time at the library
While yes, you are on a mid-sem break and the last place you may want to spend time at is at uni, the library can be great.
The library is at its best when there's a much smaller amount of people coming and going. It's quiet, so there's minimal distractions.
It is also really nice to have the choice to do your readings on the actual hard copy's rather than staring at your computer screen all day.
3. Watch those lecture recordings (we hate to say it)
Possibly your best bet to try and get back on top of all your work is through properly catching up with all your lectures.
Lectures can take time to catch up on but often some of the best information about what is happening in your course comes from what is said in lectures.
Knowing what's important to focus on because you're up to date on lecture will help you save time in the long run.
