The health services and support fieldis a broad one,encompassing many professions relating to health and welfare.Roles in this field include surgery,family support work,public policy, disability care, education and many others.
It’s important to note that degrees in this field will not always named as such — many will be listed as specialisations, such as a Bachelor of Nutrition or Bachelor of Public Health. While some health science degrees are quite broad, many will be focused on preparing you for aspecific occupation; for example, paramedic, radiographer or oral surgeon.

This month, we looked at which universities with undergraduate degrees inhealth services and support performed best in the categories ofstudent support, learning resources, learner engagement and teaching quality.
This rating looks at the proportion of students who were satisfied with the support they received from their institution.Bond University on the Gold Coast took the top spot with a 94.6% satisfaction rate, and The University of Notre Dame Australia placed second with a score of 90.5%.
This rating looks at the proportion of students who were satisfied with the learning resources provided by their institution. Bond Universityranked highest with a 97.6% satisfaction rate, while Griffith Universityin nearby Brisbane scored second-highest with94.3%.
This rating looks at the proportion of students who felt they were engaged with learning at their institution.Australian National University (ANU)ranked highest withan84.6% rate of satisfaction. Monash Universityplacedsecond witha score of 78%.
This rating looks at the proportion of students who were satisfied with the quality of teaching they experienced. It’s based on students’ ratings of their overall educational experience and the quality of teaching they received. Australian National Universitytook the top spot with a score of 100%. Second place went toBond University, with a still-very-impressive 97.60%.
