The 2018 edition of The Good Universities Guide reveals that Federation University Australia performs above the national average in all eight measures of student experience and graduate outcomes. For the second year running, FedUni maintained its five-star ratings for Student Support and Skills Development and continues to be the most highly regarded Victorian university by students for measures of student experience.
Key insights:
Computing and IT students rate FedUni higher for measures of Student Support and Overall Experience than any other university.
FedUni students studying health services and support are more satisfied with Teaching Quality than at any other university.
FedUni is regionally-based, but 80 per cent of undergraduates study full-time and on-campus, more than any other regional university in the country. Additionally, 35 per cent of FedUni students are international, which suggests a diverse, busy campus environment.
Five-star field of study highlights
Federation University performed strongly in the Student Support measure, achieving a five-star rating across six different fields of study. Fed Uni's leading field of study is humanities, culture and social sciences, where they achieved results in Australia's top 20 per cent for five of the eight measures.
