Good Universities Spotlight: The University of Notre Dame
Our holistic approach to education sets us apart as a university shaping the next generation of ethical leaders. We offer an integrative and transformative educational experience that combines theoretical knowledge and hands-on professional experience relevant to your chosen field so that you graduate work-ready. We will help you navigate your pathway for university study and support you along your journey, empowering you to make a difference by immersing you in an intellectual tradition that has inspired the world’s best thinkers for centuries.
As a Notre Dame student, you are empowered to critically analyse the world around you and make a positive difference through the core curriculum with the disciplines of Ethics, Philosophy and Theology embedded into each of our undergraduate degrees. These core disciplines develop critical reasoning skills, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to make ethical decisions. The core curriculum is a distinguishing characteristic of the university and provides graduates with transferable skills that are integral to every industry and profession, laying the foundation for a fulfilling career and a purposeful life. This is one of the many reasons that we are the number one university in Australia for Overall Satisfaction and Skills Scale (2020 Graduate Outcomes Survey, undergraduate category, qilt.edu.au).
