This program provides students with professional legal skills, including the ability to analyse legal material and understand fundamental legal principles; an understanding of the relationship between law and society; general analytical skills for analysing and solving non-legal problems and specialised study into the Australian legal system. Special emphasis is placed on legal skills. During their course students will develop skills in advocacy, negotiation, legal drafting and legal research. Both campuses have excellent facilities, including state-of-the-art moot courts for students to practise advocacy skills and excellent library and computer-based law research facilities.

Legal Practitioners' Admission Board, for admission as a legal practitioner in NSW after undertaking prescribed professional legal training (PLT)
Study Pathways
The School of Law offers a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, which provides the PLT qualification for admission. Students are able to take up to half the PLT requirements as part of their LLB program.
