Bioinformatics mixes our core computing and mathematics courses with life sciences, including biology, chemistry and genetics. The field largely involves the analysis of genes and proteins to propose cures and solutions in biomedical and environmental sciences, through computer analysis rather than laboratory experimentation.
Structure
Students must complete 60 days of Industrial Training and a total of 168 units of credit.
