The course aims to meet the needs of students who may have a limited background in science by: providing an introduction to the foundations of a range of science disciplines; providing opportunities to acquire knowledge, attitudes and skills in a range of basic physical, computational, mathematical, earth and life sciences; introducing students to scientific method through a range of disciplines; providing graduates with core knowledge in at least two science disciplines; and developing academic and scientific skills to allow students to articulate with confidence into a Bachelors Degree for further in-depth study.
