Surveying and Mapping SA High Achievers Grant

Surveying and Mapping SA (SAMSA) consists of representatives from the Surveyors Board of South Australia (SBSA), Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI), SSSI Young Professionals and the University of South Australia (UniSA). SAMSA has the aims of increasing the number of Licensed Surveyors in South Australia, promoting the profession and ensuring the continuity of surveying tertiary studies in the State.

Eligibility

The Surveying and Mapping SA High Achievers Grant has been established to assist three high achieving UniSA Bachelor of Geospatial students to pursue postgraduate studies in the Master of Surveying at UniSA. The grant will be open to students completing the Bachelor of Geospatial Science including the core surveying related courses: Surveying 1, Surveying 2, Geospatial Exploration and Digital Cartography. Students must have a program GPA of 5 or above to be eligible for the grant. Eligible recipients of the grant will be ranked based upon the average grade within the courses Surveying 1, Surveying 2, Geospatial Exploration and Digital Cartography and will be nominated by the Program Director. Up to three grants will be available each year and will be awarded to the top three students using the above outlined ranking scheme.

Amount $1,000

Payment will be made at SP2 census date of the year following the award.
