Eligibility
The Anya Attenborough Memorial Grant is available to students enrolled in the second year of the Bachelor of Social Work or Bachelor of Social Work (Honours).The grant rewards a female student for performance in the first year of their program and inspires them to complete their degree.The grant is designed to assist recipients to meet the costs of obtaining textbooks and is valued at $1,000.Eligibility and selection criteria: Female student enrolled in second year. Full-time or part-time load.Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or holder of a Permanent Humanitarian Visa.Undertaking a Bachelor of Social Work or Bachelor of Social work (Honours).Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 4.5.Submission of a written statement.Evidence of financial disadvantage or hardship.Students who cannot enrol full-time due to exceptional circumstances‚ for example having a disability or significant carer responsibilities‚ may apply and verify their circumstances during application.
Amount | $1,000 Value: $1,000. Payment will be in two instalments: - $500 (paid after the census date for the first study period of the second year) - $500 (paid after the census date for the first study period of the third year) The second payment is conditional upon successful completion of courses undertaken in the second year and a cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 4.5. |
