In the 1990s a group known as the Friends of the Conservatorium set up a fund for the purpose of supporting the pursuit of studies in Music. The scholarship was established to assist aspiring music students with the relocation costs of a move to Newcastle.

Commencing (1st year) Bachelor of Music student, full time, regional/rural, relocation.
