Bachelor of Biomedical Science
Graduates are trained in basic knowledge of the structure and function of living organisms with particular focus on the human. Using this knowledge, together with problem solving skills, critical reasoning and scientific methods taught in the program, the graduate is well prepared to collaborate on scientific investigations of human structure and function in health and disease at a molecular, cellular and whole systems level.

Structure
Qualification for the award of Bachelor of Biomedical Science requires the completion of 240 units. Students must complete 160 units of core courses, 20 units of Work Integrated Learning, 50 units selected from the course list, and 10 units of electives.

Entry requirements
- Year 12 or equivalent. A strong background in the basic sciences including chemistry, mathematics, physics or biology would be an advantage.
Study Pathways
Graduates of the Bachelor of Biomedical Science will qualify for entry into a range of graduate professional programs, including application to graduate entry health programs such as Medicine or Pharmacy, or Law. The Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Honours) program is available as an additional year to students who achieve the required Grade Point Average (GPA) in the Bachelor of Biomedical Science.
