University of New England (UNE)

The applicant will be a current and commencing UNE students from a rural background. This will be interpreted as the applicant having grown up in a family whose primary income was and/or is derived from 'farming' or 'grazing'.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be female students from a rural background; be entering the honours year, or final year of a four or five year degree program at UNE; be studying full-time; and demonstrate financial need. Selection is based on academic merit.

If no applicant meets this criterion preference will be given to applicants whose family income is derived from a rural business.

Amount $5,000

The scholarship is valued at up to $5,000 for up to 4 years.
