With the rising incidence of cancer across the globe, there is a projected shortage of skilled practitioners in the oncology workforce. The Graduate Certificate in Cancer Sciences has been designed in collaboration with the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (VCCC) and the University of Melbourne to meet this growing need. This unique course is one of only two in the world that is cancer-specific, multidisciplinary and wholly online.

Structure

  • For the award of Graduate Certificate in Sciences you must complete 50 points comprising of:
  • One 12.5-point core subject
  • Three 12.5-point elective subjects.

  • Cancer Research

Standard entry requirements

  • An undergraduate degree with honours in an appropriate discipline (or equivalent), OR
  • An undergraduate degree in an appropriate discipline (or equivalent) AND at least two years of documented, relevant work experience, OR
  • At least eight years of documented relevant work experience and demonstrated evidence of written and analytical skills appropriate for postgraduate study.
