The Diploma in Mathematical Sciences enables you to gain a mathematics qualification while completing an undergraduate degree. You will use and develop your mathematical skills to compliment your studies with high-level numerical and modelling skills that can be applied across almost every areas of employment and are always in demand.

Structure

Students undertake the Diploma in Mathematical Sciences together with an undergraduate degree, to make a total program of between 350 and 400 points. Up to 50 points of appropriate Mathematics and Statistics subjects in the undergraduate degree program may also be attributed to the Diploma.

To be eligible to enrol in the Diploma in Mathematical Sciences you must already be enrolled in one of the following undergraduate degrees at the University of Melbourne: Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Biomedicine, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Design, Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Science
