Our marine engineering programs are structured so students can complete qualifications in steps. This approach lets you complete a Graduate Certificate in Marine Engineering after six months, the Graduate Diploma in Marine Engineering after 12 and a Master of Marine Engineering after 18. You will: develop and enhance prior expertise, build highly sought after knowledge and practical skills, take core courses intensively, allowing you to complete Submarine Design, Naval Ship Engineering and Systems Engineering within six months, choose from a wide range of specialist electives.

Structure

The Graduate Diploma is a 24-unit program including 9 units of core courses and 15 units of electives. Students must ensure that at least 18 units of study must be taken from courses taught by the University of Adelaide.
