The Bachelor of Cybersecurity will prepare you for a career fighting cybercrime in some of the world's most in-demand roles. Designed and delivered by industry, this course will help you understand the ethical use of emerging and smart technologies, and how to defend them within a cybersecurity context.The course will cover an extensive range of theoretical and technical skills across subjects including cybersecurity principles; ethical hacking and penetration testing; human-centric cybersecurity in a smart society; enterprise cybersecurity governance and applications; as well as work-integrated learning to allow you to put your knowledge into practice. On completion, you'll be able to analyse and recommend innovative cybersecurity solutions, utilising your design thinking and problem-solving skills to protect the digital fortress.
Structure
This course comprises twenty core subjects (at Level 100, Level 200 and Level 300) and two elective subjects. Each subject involves 10 hours of study per week, comprising three hours of facilitated study and seven hours self-directed study.
Standard entry requirements
Australian Year 12 or equivalent OR Successful completion of a Vocational qualification (AQF Level 4), or above OR Successful completion of a Higher Education qualification OR Work life experience demonstrating the ability to undertake study at the required level.
