Centenary Trust for Women Miles Family Scholarship
The University of Western Australia (UWA)
The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage and assist women from rural or remote Western Australia, who are experiencing financial hardship, to continue their studies towards an undergraduate degree within the Faculty of Life and Physical Sciences.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be female; be from a rural or regional area of Western Australia; be enrolled, or intend to enrol, full-time, (unless there are exceptional circumstances that preclude full-time enrolment); have successfully completed the first 48 points of the Bachelor of Science or any undergraduate degree; and demonstrate financial hardship and limited educational opportunities (e.g. due to distance, economic disadvantage, cultural differences, disability or responsibility for the care of children, the ill or the elderly).
