Basil Stone Scholarship
The University of Western Australia (UWA)
Mr Horace Joseph Stone made a bequest under the terms of his will to establish a scholarship to encourage study in agriculture in memory of his son Basil who died in a tragic accident aged 19. The scholarship is awarded to the applicant with the highest average mark in Level 1 units to the value of at least 48 points completed.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Science; have completed level 1 units to the value of 48 credit points; and be enrolled on a full-time basis. Selection is based on academic merit.
Amount | $2,000 The scholarship is valued at $2,000, paid in 2 equal instalments of $1,000 after the census date in Semester 1 and Semester 2. |
