Todays businesses have an increasing need to make sense of the large quantities of structured and unstructured data that are generated. Understanding how to integrate large and complex data sets, and transform data into meaningful insights and actions, is vital for business success. Business leaders equipped with the analytical skills needed to extract meaning from complex data sets, and translate this meaning into actionable insights, are highly sought after in the global workplace. To inform strategic decisions, and remain competitive, businesses must leverage the insights contained in the large volumes of data produced both within the business and in the broader business environment. One of the benefits of business analytics is the ability to collate and fuse multiple streams of secondary data, many passively collected, in order to better understand business processes, customer demands, and relationships between multiple agents.
