The Notre Dame Get Set Grant provides financial support to assist students from a low socioeconomic background or regional/remote area, and Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students with the cost of commencing a diploma, undergraduate or enabling program at the University.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Grant, applicants must:a) Be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia.b) Be commencing one of the following, as the first program of study at the University:i) Diplomaii) Tertiary Pathway Programiii) Undergraduate award programc) a) b) Be enrolled in no less than 0.50 EFTSL.Not previously have received the Notre Dame Get Set Grant.Meet at least one of the following criteria:i) Be from a low socio-economic background – as determined by a permanent home address fallingwithin the lowest quartile in the Australian Bureau of Statistics’ Index of Relative Socio-economicDisadvantage by Statistical Area 1;ii) Be from a regional or remote area – as determined by a permanent home address being classifiedas Inner Regional, Outer Regional, Remote or Very Remote in the Australian Bureau of Statistics’Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS) Edition 3;iii) Be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
