The Master of Education is a graduate entry program for teachers or educators who wish to increase their knowledge and hone their leadership skills in education. It is a one-year full-time (or part-time equivalent) coursework degree designed for the professional learning of qualified teachers employed in the various areas of the education sector. Students have the opportunity to undertake either a generic or a specialised program. The Specialisations include Leading TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and Leading Gifted and Talented Education. The program emphasises development of leadership skills, curriculum development and teaching and learning expertise . The Master degree consists of eight courses with four courses qualifying candidates for Graduate Certificate if they choose an early exit.
