The combined Bachelor of Laws / Bachelor of Arts from The University of Notre Dame Australia, designed to be completed over five years, has a strong emphasis on ethics, practical legal training, and the concepts of duty, social function and service to others. With a curriculum designed with input from judges, barristers and solicitors, the School of Law also calls on such members of the profession to assist in teaching, adding further to the highly practical nature of this legal program.

Structure

Must complete a minimum of 1050 Units of Credit chosen from the courses, as listed in Appendix A, comprising: i. 50 Units of Credit from two (2) Core Curriculum Courses; ii. 575 Units of Credit from twenty-three (23) compulsory courses from the Bachelor of Laws curriculum; iii. 125 Units of Credit from five (5) elective courses from the Bachelor of Laws curriculum, which includes at least one (1) international law elective; and iv. 300 Units of Credit from twelve (12) courses from the Bachelor of Arts curriculum, of which 200 Units of Credit will form a Major from the approved list of Majors and four (4) courses will be Arts electives.
