In this course, students learn how to make diagnostic assessments and use a range of interventions including lifestyle, nutritional, energetic and herbal treatments. With an emphasis on practical training and strong academic rigour, students gain the hands-on skills to improve digestive function, help the body to process wastes, toxins and nutrients more efficiently, improve immunity, assist the body to cope with stress, repair damaged tissue and optimise organ and system function.
Structure
3 trimesters of 12 weeks (plus exams). Full-time load is 4 subjects per trimester. Subjects include: Anatomy and Physiology, Bioscience, Clinical Nutrition, Naturopathic Herbal Medicine, Pathology, Psychology, Counselling, Iridology, Homoeopathy, Clinical Diagnosis and Clinic Practicum.

Standard entry requirements
- Year 12 or equivalent

Study pathways
Students can apply for course credits if they have completed relevant previous studies at another institution.
Further information
Mature age students must have a minimum of Year 10 schooling plus demonstrated life/work experience in the admission interview.
