Construction Induction (CI) White Card is legally required to work on a construction or building site in Victoria. By law, under Part 5.1 of the Victorian Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2007, a person must successfully undertake construction induction training before working at a construction site in Victoria. You will gain knowledge and awareness of health and safety legislative requirements in order to work safely and prevent industry or harm to self and others. As you will be studying a nationally endorsed unit of competency, you will be contacted by Academic Services regarding the online enrolment steps.

Course content - OHS legislative requirements, Safe work practices, Construction hazards and control measures, OHS communication and reporting processes, Role of designated OHS personnel, Safety signs and symbols, Relevant authorities for reporting hazards and incidents, OHS incident response procedures, Emergencies, PPE and Fire safety equipment.
