RMITs Master of Property has been designed to enable you to critically engage with contemporary property theory, apply your knowledge and skills to creatively address industry problems, and to realise business opportunities across the corporate and residential sectors. As a graduate of this degree, you will develop the skills needed to work in high level and senior management roles. You will possess sound knowledge of property as an asset class within local and global contexts and the ability to independently conduct research and analyse industry trends. You will also be equipped to apply your team-work and management skills to formulate industry solutions, and provide informed evidence based decision making.
Structure
In the first year of this degree, you will undertake six core subjects that span valuation techniques and property analysis, real estate law, corporate property finance, and more. You will also choose two electivee subjects, with options including the valuation of rural properties, project management, marketing, accounting, and more. In your second year, you will undertake a total of eight subjects designed teach you quantitative methods for economic analysis and property investment planning, and will hone your research skills. You will also undertake the capstone subject Property Industry Project.

Standard entry requirements
an Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent overseas qualification) OR a minimum of 8 years professional work experience in a related industry. Applicants with professional experience at a senior level that spans fewer than 8 years may also be considered.

Students who have undertaken a Bachelor Honours degree, Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma may be able to apply for credit which will be assessed on an individual case basis dependent on the qualification, program undertaken and GPA.
