Standard entry requirements

Successful completion of an Australian bachelor degree (or international equivalent) in Engineering, Science or Technology with a major in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Engineering systems, Structural or Mining engineering with a GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.0.

Recognition

Engineers Australia accreditation will be sought for this program in accordance with accreditation timelines.

Study pathways

If students have completed a Bachelor of Engineering program in Civil Engineering, and at AQF level 8 or equivalent, where this program is accredited by Engineers Australia, they may be eligible to receive up to 96 credit points of advanced standing. At completion of the Master of Engineering (Civil Engineering) students will meet the eligibility criteria to apply for the PhD (Civil Engineering).
