The Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, will teach you about the human body and the use of drugs to treat disease.Throughout your pharmaceutical studies, you will develop knowledge about the human body, the action of drugs in them, and ways in which the pharmaceutical industry can deliver more reliable, accessible and effective treatments.In addition to an understanding of pharmacology and physiology, this biomedical science degree will teach you about the development of new drugs, the clinical use of medications, and the legal and regulatory aspects of developing medicines.You will gain an understanding of biochemistry, cell biology, and physiology, and an in-depth knowledge of pharmacology, clinical trials, drug development, and therapeutics, to prepare you for a multidisciplinary career in the pharmaceutical industry.

Standard entry requirements

You must have successfully completed a qualification recognised by RMIT as equivalent to the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) with a minimum average of 65% (see calculator below).Equivalent qualifications may also include completion of the RMIT Foundation Studies program or a recognised post secondary diploma in the relevant discipline with the required grades.Meeting the minimum academic requirements does not guarantee entry. Your application will still need to be assessed and accepted.
