Develop your entrepreneurial mindset and the foundational skills you require to take an idea all the way through to a new venture. The Diploma in Entrepreneurship introduces you to entrepreneurial thinking and give you tools to problem solve and develop innovative solutions. In addition, the diploma has a strong focus on the development of academic skills required at university, preparing you for successful study.All units adopt a blended approach to learning. On-campus classes are supported by online activities, helping you to become an independent learner. You’ll benefit from additional contact hours with experienced QUT educators in smaller class sizes allowing a more personalised learning experience.

Structure

Four Entrepreneurship core units (48 credit points) and four units from either Business Pathway, Creative Industries Pathway or Information Technology Pathway.

Before you start this course, we assume you have sound knowledge of the subject/s listed below. If you don't have the subject knowledge, you can still apply for the course but we strongly encourage you to undertake bridging studies to gain the knowledge:English, or Literature, or English and Literature Extension, or English as an Additional Language (Units 3 & 4, C)
