Real-world courses

Study a course that gives you real experience alongside the theory so you can face the future with confidence. At QUT, you’ll use industry-standard equipment in labs and clinics; work on real projects; undertake work experience; and make connections with employers. Bring your ideas to life by developing your entrepreneurial mindset and practice.

We offer more than 220 degrees in architecture and built environment, business, communication, creative arts, design, engineering, health, information technology and games, justice, law, mathematics and data science, science, and teaching and education. You can study on campus or choose an online course.

Our wide range of double degrees gives you greater variety in your study and a competitive advantage in your career. We also offer vertical double degrees, where you’ll complete a bachelor degree and master degree in a streamlined course of study.

If you’re looking for a pathway option, consider a QUT College diploma for direct entry to several of our degrees.

Your QUT qualification will be well regarded in Australia and around the globe. We are positioned third in Australia and 26th in the world's best young universities ranking (Times Higher Education's Young Universities Rankings 2023).
