The Graduate Diploma of Business Information Systems has been designed to provide a substantial understanding of the use and management of information systems in organisations. Students gain an overview of the technologies and look at management areas such as IS risk management, enterprise architecture, IS strategy and governance. Students will undertake initial study of business analysis and IT project management in the Graduate Diploma and also select one of these topics, or Enterprise Information Management, as a specialisation. The Graduate Diploma of Business Information Systems thus prepares students for more specialised work in a chosen area, or the opportunity to continue further studies at a Masters level. The availability of electives in the program offers students the option of broadening or deepening their study.

Standard entry requirements
Standard entry Successful completion of an Undergraduate Degree in any discipline equivalent to an Australian Bachelor degree. Students with an undergraduate degree in IS or IT may be eligible for up to 4 exemptions and depending on the number of exemption(s) given, will need to complete at least 8 more units to qualify for the award.
